American Humane is a well-established animal welfare organization with a reputation of dedicated leadership on the issues that matter. Our goal is to effect change by working with other organizations through cooperation and coalition building. American Humane protects animals through positive advocacy and action.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The ASPCA's mission is to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals thoughout the United States.  They offer programs in humane education, public awareness, government advocacy, shelter support and animal medical services and placement.  They also operate the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center, the premier animal-oriented poison control center in North America.
The American Kennel Club provides information about over 150 breeds of purebred dogs, as well as infomation about dog related events.
